Feel The Cuban Rumba Tropical Salsa
Rhythm in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada has been called
the entertainment capital of the world, so it's a great place
for salsa lovers to enjoy a Latin theme party, Cuban theme party
or Latin dance show.
This city is the home of big
casinos, big bands and big shows so salsa dancers looking for
some Latin music or Cuban music to while away the hours are definitely
in the right place for dancing and fun.
Las Vegas means 'the meadows'
which may seem a strange name for a desert city, but the area
once had plenty of green spaces fed by local artesian wells.
These days, modern irrigation
gives the same effect at the city's many oases. Las Vegas retains
a desert climate with a tropical Caribbean feel.
That means that even in winter
it's mild, there's very little rain and the summers are hot,
hot, hot! In January, the coolest month, the average temperature
is 57F, while in summer the temperature rises to a blistering
104F in July.
Though it was once a railroad
town, Las Vegas is most famous as a gambling mecca and most of
its visitors come to try their luck at the fabulous casinos.
These are located both downtown and on Las Vegas Boulevard, known
as the strip.
The city is also home to many
fabulous nightspots where salsa lovers can dance the night away.
As well as the casinos, there's plenty to see and do in this
wonderful city, with year round events and some great restaurants
and night clubs. |
